Internet Trolls. Here's what they look like. It's 11 PM, they're on the bed and under the sheets. Then they get to their job, spreading horrible and disgusting comments across the internet. Do they really not have anything better to do with their lives? In my opinion, they're the worst type of trolls. At least the ones in books are green and have weird clothes (seriously, no one wears a rag).
The internet trolls are on the rise, and it's pretty serious. Millions of people sit behind their computer screens and make fun of people all around the world, and the only reason they believe they can do it is because there is no way to find them. They call people names, make fun of people and their races, and do other such acts just for their own fun.
However, this isn't it. Kids are starting to become internet trolls, and many are hurting not only the people in their school, but they hurt kids they've never met before. Trolling is one of the ways people cyber bully, and we need to educate people on how to stay safe from them. There are so many ways we can stay away from these trolls, and we need to use them now.
The first way of course, is to make things you post on social media private, so only people who you choose can view your posts. This way, there is no way internet trolls can comment on people's posts, and this reduces the amount of mean comments spread. The second way is to tell such people to stop and to report them. If you see anyone who is spreading hate through websites, you could tell them to stop and tell others to block them so that they aren't affected. The final way to stay safe is the obvious. Just ignore them. What are they gonna do? Absolutely nothing.
