Krishu. That is my name. All my friends call me that. My parents call me that. Even my pet fish called me that (at least in his own bubbly way). But what is "Krishu"? My parents named me Krishu after the Hindu god Krishna. I come from a Hindu family, so my parents had decided that they wanted their son to be named after the god who is known for his wisdom, as well as his playfulness and pranks. However, they wanted there to be a balance in my name, so they decided to put in the "-ishu" part into my name. Ishu means Jesus in Hindi. Now this is where the balance part comes in. Jesus, or "Ishu" is one of the most popular gods in the western part of the world, whereas Krishna, is one of the most popular gods in India, which is in the East. Together, they make Krishu, and that's how my parents came up with my name.
